St Leonards Festival
16th July 11am - 4pm. Warrior Gardens you will find the 1066 Fundrasiers working in conjunction with St Leonards Parish Church to entertain the young people. We will have our trade mark Wacky races on hand. Competitions and fun for children. The cost is just a donation. The money raised from this will go to Demelza Childrens Hospice and the youth work at St Leonards Parish Church.
August:
Ore Festival
20th August. We will be attending this event too. We will be providing free fun and games for the young people to get involved with. You never know they might enjoy themselves so much they will sign there families up for the 20hr Relay in September.
September:
Community Fun Weekend
10th September: William Parker Sports College, Community Arena, Hastings. 12 mid-day till 9.30pm
This is an event not to be missed. Beginning at 12 mid-day with a conga lap around the track for those taking part in the 20hr Relay. Side stalls and entertainment for everyone - making this a party like atmosphere. Its a knock out is at 2pm. 1 mile timed race for the competitive runners is at 3pm onwards. There will be
displays and fete stalls to keep you entertained. You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the atmosphere.
Entrance to spectate is free. The teams taking part in Its a Knock out or 1 Mile run have a small entrance fee which is going to charity. There will be plenty of free activities to keep the whole family occupied. Those taking part in the 20 Hr Relay will have free camping and enjoy the free community breakfast at the end on Sunday
morning at 8am. Entrance for those with limited mobility or prams : Is the emergency exists gates at the bottom of parkstone road. For everyone else either use the public foot path or park on the school grounds at either entrance and follow the signs to the main arena entrance. There you have the option of steps or follow the grass slope to get to the fun and games.
